I had the opportunity to get away this past weekend. A rousing 38 women from our church got on the bus to Cleveland for a Women of Faith conference. Now if you can imagine that many women in an enclosed space you have to know we had lots of talking, sharing, and tons of laughter. An amazing trip and an amazing group of women!
At the conference, the speakers Marilyn Meberg, Patsy Clairmont, and Shelia Welsh always inspire me. Anita Renfroe was a hoot and had us all in stitches. The music from Mandisa and Sandy Patty was phenomenal!
The theme this year was A GRAND NEW DAY and focused on how each day is a gift from God.....a new opportunity to be the person God created you to be....and another chance to step into the plan He has for your life. So uplifting and encouraging.
I would encourage you to try to attend one of these conferences. Whether you're far along in your walk with God or just dipping your toes in -- you won't be disappointed.
